Cellabs是一家位于悉尼的“精品”診斷公司，專門從事熱帶和傳染病免疫診斷試劑盒的設(shè)計，開發(fā)和制造。Cellabs由免疫學(xué)家AM Smithyman博士于1985年成立，是澳大利亞歷史悠久的私人生物技術(shù)公司。
到1990年，Cellabs已發(fā)布了針對賈第蟲，隱孢子蟲和衣原體的商業(yè)診斷測試產(chǎn)品；所有這些都在本地和上找到了現(xiàn)成的市場。該公司穩(wěn)步擴(kuò)大了其產(chǎn)品范圍，目前銷售20多種診斷套件。
該公司對諸如瘧疾，利什曼病，象皮病和血吸蟲病等被忽視的熱帶病特別感興趣；對人口構(gòu)成沉重負(fù)擔(dān)的疾病。例如，瘧疾每30*死一名兒童，在87個國家中很普遍，估計*有2.19億例病例和435,000例死亡（《世界瘧疾報告2018》）。
Cellabs標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的IFA 50測試試劑盒包含足以進(jìn)行50次測試的試劑：1.25毫升試劑瓶，一次性使用的陽性對照玻片和2.5毫升瓶特制的安裝液。
